Costa Adeje

Holidays in Costa Adeje are spot on for those looking for a happy medium between bustling and secluded. With the spectacular sight of Mount Teide forming the back drop to the resort you may well be surprised to find a modern resort in such a natural setting. Just 3 km from Playa De Las Americas you'll find yourself in a resort that's quieter than its party hard neighbour but still with plenty to offer. This of course could be what appeals to you about a holiday in Costa Adeje, a smaller resort that's still close to all the nightlife and action of a busier resort.

There's no need for a Spanish phrasebook on a holiday in Costa Adeje as most of the locals speak very good English. This is even more useful in the small shopping centres where you'll find some great duty free goods. You should be able to bag a bargain or two on your last minute holiday to Costa Adeje.

Now for the beach. Black volcanic sands that are the signature of the Canary Islands lead you into the Atlantic Ocean which is the perfect antidote to the scorching sun in the height of summer. You'll find plenty of water sports to try out at the beach, perhaps you fancy trying your hand at windsurfing? When you fancy a change to the beach but sticking with the water theme you'll find a couple of water parks nearby with slides just waiting for you to scream your way down.
