About Playa Paraiso

“Lively or laid-back, your holiday is what you make it in Playa Paraiso.”

Modern and mellow, Playa Paraiso gives you that miles from the madding crowd feeling. But because it’s just to the north of Playa De Las Americas, you get the best of both worlds – laid-back and lovely or light-hearted and lively: the choice is yours. Travel between the two areas is made easy thanks to a regular and reliable local bus service, or you can simply take a ten minute taxi ride if you prefer. So when you want to take things easy away from the masses, you can. And when you’re ready to party, there are plenty of lively clubs and bars to tempt you. In the other direction there’s Los Gigantes to explore, with its various sightseeing spots and local amenities. Having said that, Playa Paraiso does have a small selection of good bars and restaurants. So there’s always a sunny dining spot with your name on it. Plus, there are a few shops and banks on hand for those holiday essentials. The resort’s compact size is perhaps what makes it so appealing – with no hustle and bustle to speak of, life stays firmly in the slow lane. But the main attraction is the lido right on the sea – much easier on the toes than the small rocky beach. You’ll spend many a day here, stretched out in the sun without a care in the world. It just goes to show, the best things really do come in small packages.

Beaches

The rocky beach is small but there is a popular lido complex nearby which makes an enjoyable change from your hotel pool.

Eating out

Food and drink is mainly hotel based in Playa Paraiso. The typical menu consists of both traditional Spanish fare and international cuisine.

Nightlife

There are a few bars in Playa Paraiso but most of the nightlife is centred around the hotels. Some offer fantastic entertainment that will suit all ages. If you do feel like a livelier evening, you can pop down to the vibrant Playa de las Americas where you can find a vast selection of excellent restaurants and bars.

Shopping

If it's shopping you're after, the best place to head for is nearby Playa de las Americas - here you'll find everything from souvenirs to designer boutiques.
